WBA/IBO middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin (27-0, 24KOs) gave a response to come of the recent comments that were made by WBA super middleweight king Andre Ward (26-0, 14KOs). The possibility of a Ward-Golovkin match is gaining speed with the fans. Ward questioned Golovkin's defensive skills . "One thing that you see is, he hasn't had a reason to be concerned with defense. Everybody gets hit, but he is hittable," Ward said in the aftermath of Golovkin's knockout victory over Matthew Macklin last month. Golovkin says Ward is making comments to build up a potential future fight between the two of them.
