Parker, Arizona - Hector Camacho Jr (57-6-1) and Hector Munoz (22-11-1) went to war for ten rounds. Camachor Jr., who missed weight by 7 lbs, played the role as the counter puncher, while Fernando Vargas trained Munoz played the aggressor trying to walk Camacho Jr. down. The fight went back and forth early, during which Camacho Jr had an easy time counter punching. As the fight went on his shape seemed to wear him down and at the same time Munoz picked up. During the 6th round Munoz took control of the fight. Munoz consistently pushed the action and kept pushing Camacho Jr. against the ropes. As the fight progressed Munoz's trainer Fernando Vargas did an incredible job in the corner. In the end the judges scored the fight 97-93, 96-94, & 98-93 Munoz, who picks up a big win for his career.
