Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer has advised BoxingScene.com that he wants to put together a high stakes showdown between WBA interim-welterweight king Keith "One Time" Thurman, and former champion Robert "The Ghost" Guerrero, for November 2nd. Golden Boy is planning a big event for the date and Thurman-Guerrero is on Schaefer's radar for the show. Thurman (21-0, 19KOs) last fought on July 27th, when he knocked out previously undefeated Diego Chaves in an action-packed fight. Guerrero (32-2-1, 18KOs) last fought in May, losing a twelve round decision to Floyd Mayweather Jr. "I'm going to do a very significant card on November 2nd.
