Magomed Abdusalamov vs Mike Perez

According to Boris Greenburg, a manager of highly regarded heavyweight power hitter Magomed Abdusalamov, the undefeated Russian banger will be one half of an explosive duo, which will collide as a part of the huge event, pre-planned for November 2 at the Madison Square Garden in New York, USA. The second half of the thrilling equation is Eire-based Cuban Ismaikel “Mike” Perez (19-0, 12 KOs). Abdusalamov, 32, has an eye-popping record of 18-0, 18 KOs, with 11 KOs being scored in the starting round. The Russian fighter is rated #4 by the WBC and #10 by the WBA. Perez, 27, is best known for his win in the first international Prizefighter series in 2011, getting nods over solid third-tier opposition (Tye Fields, Gregory Tony and Kertson Manswell) en route to a coming out victory. His career has been marred by two lengthy lay-offs. He came back this May, getting a unanimous decision over Travis Walker.
